The Men that COH Support

Long Island Shelter
The volunteers at Boston's Long Island Shelter for men, accepting clothing from Circle of Hope
Circle of Hope is continually blessed by the incredible donations of women and children's clothing we receive on a daily basis. These items are critically important to the struggling families we serve. But as we approach Father's Day we turn our attention to the men in need within Greater Boston. The donations of men's items - clothing and shoes, in particular - to Circle of Hope comes in smaller numbers, though the need is just as great.
"For our guests to have the opportunity to put on clean and fresh clothing, helps greatly with their self esteem," says John Comaschi of Long Island Shelter in Boston. "When these men go out for job interviews, the clothing they wear makes a real difference in whether they will be considered seriously for a position."
Our hope is to make sure that all of the men Circle of Hope serves have the clothing they need to thrive once again. So as we pause to honor the dads in our lives, we ask that you consider donating men's items - from t-shirts to neckties to suiting - so we may continue to fill this important need within our community.
"You may never meet the people that you are clothing," says Comaschi. "But please know that Circle of Hope truly means 'hope' for the guests we serve."
