Who We Serve
Circle of Hope partners with 31 homeless shelters, healthcare centers, schools, and programs in Boston and MetroWest in order to provide clothing and necessities to more than 31,700 individuals experiencing homelessness and hygiene insecurity each year. In addition to our 31 regular partner programs, we also provide one-time support to Crisis Response Partners on an as-needed basis. Circle of Hope provides inclusive, culturally appropriate support to people across the lifespan, including infants, children, LGBTQIA+ youth and adults, college students, refugees, older adults, and survivors of domestic violence, by providing them with the items they need to stay warm and dry throughout all of New England's seasons. Camino a casa - Boston
Casa Nueva Vida, a division of Heading Home, provides shelter, housing, and case management to homeless families in Boston and Lawrence. Its mission is to provide families with the resources they need to lift themselves out of poverty.
Clinton House Family Shelter - Framingham
Clinton House Family Shelter is operated by South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC) and houses 8 families at a time. Circle of Hope began serving Clinton House in 2017 to meet the growing needs of families experiencing homelessness in MA.
Eliot Community Human Services MSPCC Early Arrival Program - Revere
Circle of Hope partnered with Eliot Community Human Services in spring 2024 to provide clothing, hygiene essentials, and infant supplies to 57 pregnant and postpartum moms and babies in emergency shelter in Revere.
FamilyAid - Boston
Circle of Hope partnered with FamilyAid in late 2024 to provide clothing and hygiene essentials to 42 families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. FamilyAid provides a variety of support services, including shelter and temporary housing, to thousands of children and parents in Greater Boston.
Mary Eliza Mahoney HOUSE - Roxbury
Circle of Hope has provided clothing and essentials to families in the Mary Eliza Mahoney House Family Shelter at the Dimock Center in Roxbury since 2022.
Gordon Street Family Shelter - Framingham
Also operated by SMOC, Gordon Street Shelter houses families experiencing homelessness in Framingham. We provide clothing, hygiene items, and infant essentials to families in shelter.
Pathways family shelter - framingham
Circle of Hope serves families at Pathways Family Shelter, operated by SMOC, in Framingham. We provide clothing, hygiene essentials, bedding, and Welcome Baby Bags to 14 families every month.
Pearl Street Shelter - Framingham
Pearl Street Family Shelter, operated by SMOC, houses 12 families at a time, including many children under five years old. COH provides essentials to all family members, including clothing, Welcome Baby Bags, porta-cribs, and toiletries.
Project Hope - Dorchester
Project Hope is an agency that provides a variety of supportive services to women with children. Circle of Hope provides clothing and necessities to residents of Project Hope's family shelter in Dorchester.
ROSIE'S PLACE - BOSTON
Rosie's Place was the first women's shelter in the United States when it was founded in 1974. There, they provide shelter, meals, and a range of supportive services to thousands of homeless and low-income women each year.
St. Francis House - Boston
St. Francis House is the largest day shelter in MA, serving 500 adults each day. St. Francis House also has 56 units of supportive housing and provides training to help individuals find jobs.
Southampton Street Shelter - Boston
Operated by Boston Public Health Commission, Southampton Street Shelter is a men's shelter with 320 beds. Circle of Hope has been providing clothing and necessities to Southampton St. since it opened following the closure of Long Island Shelter in 2015.
Woods-Mullen Shelter - Boston
Woods-Mullen Shelter is a women's shelter run by Boston Public Health Commission and is located in the South End of Boston. Up to 147 women find shelter there every night. Circle of Hope provides them with clothing and hygiene essentials to promote health and protect personal dignity.
Y2Y Harvard Square - Cambridge
Y2Y is a Harvard University student-run overnight shelter for homeless young adults ages 18-24 years. Circle of Hope provides clothing and hygiene essentials to young adults experiencing homelessness from September through June.
Domestic Violence Shelters
Atask - Boston
Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence provides shelter and services to Pan-Asian survivors of domestic violence. Circle of Hope provides clothing to their emergency shelter to help survivors get safely back on their feet.
Voices Against Violence - Framingham
Voices Against Violence, operated by South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC), works to to end sexual and domestic violence by delivering community education and primary prevention. The VAV shelter provides a safe refuge for individuals and families who are seeking a safer future.
HealthCARE CENTERS AND HOSPITALS
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Needham
Circle of Hope began a collaboration with BID Needham in 2021. We provide clothing, shoes, and other personal care items to patients in the emergency department who are experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
Boston health care for the homeless Program - BOSTON
Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) provides comprehensive healthcare to children and adults experiencing homelessness in the Greater Boston area. They offer healthcare, mental health counseling, and dental care at more than 60 sites throughout the area.
Bowdoin STREET Health Center - Dorchester
Circle of Hope made its first delivery to Bowdoin Street Health Center in January 2020. We provide clothing and Welcome Baby Bags to infants and new moms receiving care at the health center.
FENWAY HEALTH - BOSTON
Fenway Health's mission is to enhance the wellbeing of the LGBT community by providing healthcare, education, and advocacy. COH provides clothing and hygiene essentials to clinic patients and clients in the Violence Recovery Program (VRP), which provides services to survivors of domestic violence, hate crimes, police violence, and sexual assault.
Universities and Schools
Framingham High School - Framingham
In December 2021, Circle of Hope began a pilot partnership with Framingham High School. We make monthly deliveries of clothing, coats, and accessories to students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
Framingham State University - Framingham
Circle of Hope partnered with Framingham State University to provide clothing, bedding, toiletries, and dorm room essentials to homeless students at FSU and its partner, MassBay Community College.
The Kaszanek House - Malden
Circle of Hope provides clothing and necessities to the Kaszanek House (K-House) for college students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity at Bunker Hill Community College, UMass Boston, Roxbury Community College, and MassArt.
NATIVITY PREP - BOSTON
Circle of Hope began serving Nativity Preparatory School in Jamaica Plain in late 2024. Nativity Prep provides a tuition-free Jesuit education to boys from underserved families in Boston, empowering young men of color to break the cycle of poverty, to thrive in high school, college, and career, and to become compassionate “men for others.”
University of massachusetts - boston
Circle of Hope partnered with UMass Boston and made its first delivery of essential toiletries in September 2019. By providing everyday necessities, we help college students who are experiencing homelessness attend classes in good health.
Other Programs
Boston Police Department - Jamaica Plain
In partnership with Community Service Officers in Boston Police Department District E-13, Circle of Hope provides clothing, hygiene essentials, and infant care items to families experiencing homelessness in Jamaica Plain and throughout Boston, including hundreds of children in Boston Public Schools.
Bowdoin-Geneva Neighborhood - Dorchester
With the help of Rev. Richard Conway, Circle of Hope distributes clothing and toiletries to children and families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in the Bowdoin-Geneva neighborhood of Dorchester. To read more about Father Conway's work, check out this article.
Breaktime - Boston
In late 2024, Circle of Hope began providing hygiene essentials to Breaktime, a program providing financial and employment support to young adults to break the cycle of homelessness.
Jewish Family & Children's Services (JF & CS)
Circle of Hope partnered with JF & CS in 2017. Volunteers at JF & CS give Circle of Hope's Welcome Baby Bags to mothers with infants throughout Eastern Massachusetts through the Visiting Moms Program.
On The Rise - Cambridge
On The Rise is a day program for chronically homeless women. They meet basic needs like meals, showers, and laundry, and provide crisis response and housing assistance.
Women's Lunch Place - Boston
Women's Lunch Place is a day program where women can find meals, basic necessities, free healthcare, a resource center, and a Creative Expression Program. They serve 1,300 women annually.

Crisis Response Partners
Circle of Hope launched the Crisis Response Program in 2024 to meet the increasing number of urgent requests for temporary support from shelters, schools, and other programs. We evaluate requests for one-time or sporadic deliveries on a case-by-case basis and fulfill the specific needs of Crisis Response Partners without impacting service to our regular partner programs. In 2024, we made deliveries to 4 Crisis Response Partners, providing seasonally appropriate clothing and hygiene essentials to hundreds of children and adults experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
